The entry level course is Scuba Diver, although the vast majority of people opt for the PADI Open Water Diver Course. This course gives you the skills and a qualification to dive anywhere in the world to a depth of 18m. After this course many of our divers progress onto the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver Course, this will increase your skills and experience levels and with a depth rating of 30m, will allow you to dive to the vast majority of dive sites in the world.

Developing your skills as a diver will allow you more opportunities in the diving world, be they different types of dives, holidays or experiences. We have a number of different courses such as the Rescue Diver Course as well as specialty courses in the areas of Boat Diving, Deep Diving, Enriched Air Diving, Dry Suit Diving, Wreck Diving, Underwater Navigation, Underwater Photography and Multilevel Diving to name a just a few. The Emergency First Response Course (EFR) is a market leading training course for CPR and Emergency First Aid. We are fully qualified and experienced in teaching the EFR course. To enhance the EFR skills of divers, we now offer the DAN Oxygen First Aid for Scuba Diving course. These First Aid courses are open to divers and non-divers alike.

Experienced divers who wish to become dive professionals can join our flexible Divemaster programs which run continuously.

Open Water Diver

Open Water Diver
The Open Water course is PADI’s entry level qualification. Upon completion you are a fully qualified diver. You can rent equipment and go diving, and be involved in the underwater world. We make sure that your instructor can spend a great deal of time explaining and coaching you towards your goal. The course comprises of some home study, with the aid of a manual and a DVD, this is completed at your own pace. Alongside this you will complete sessions in the swimming pool. We then take all these new skills and apply them in four open water dives. These will be completed at an inland dive site. Your open water dives will be conducted in dry suits. The price of your course includes the use of all equipment required to complete the course, there are no hidden costs, except your lunch.

Advanced Open Water Diver

Advanced Open Water Diver
As a qualified diver, you can dive to 18m but many divers choose the PADI Advanced Open Water course to increase their skill levels and qualify to dive to 30 metres. In order to qualify as an Advanced diver, you will extend your training by completing two core dives. These being the Deep dive and the Navigation dive. You can then chose a further three elective dives. This will enhance your dive skills. Once qualified you will be certified to enjoy your diving down to a maximum depth of 30 metres, opening up many more opportunities and experiences within your dive trips.

Rescue Diver Rescue Diver
This course is designed to give you the skills and knowledge to be able to deal with diving emergencies. For any qualified diver, the Rescue Diver course will give a superb boost of confidence, as it provides you with the training needed should an accident occur. It is a course you should consider once you are confident in your own abilities, as it involves the process of looking after others in need. Each rescue situation is unique, and this course is very effective at preparing you to be flexible and efficient, rather than tied into a “right” way of doing things. In order to qualify as a rescue diver, you must hold a CPR and First Aid qualification. This can be the Emergency First Response Course. Many divers consider the Rescue Diver as the best course that they ever take.

Emergency First Response Emergency First Response ( EFR)
Emergency First Response is an exciting new program open to divers or non-divers. A good basic knowledge of First Aid is a a great skill for everyone, and can make all the difference in a real life emergency. EFR is a one-day course, utilising a home study video and manual, and then hands on practice with an instructor. It comprises of two elements, a CPR module and a First Aid module. These are available either in combination or separately to suit your requirements. The qualification is valid for two years. First Aid training is a pre-requisite for Rescue Diver, and a current First Aid qualification is also required at Divemaster and above.
